My Mission
I empower individuals and organizations to redefine leadership.
Together, we can:
Shatter outdated norms/rules and rewrite conscious reframes to lead by.
Unlock authenticity and wisdom through inner work.
Forge transformational strategies that drive lasting impact.
Whether Iām speaking on stage, connecting via your screen or headphones, or hosting you at one of my dinner circles, youāll emerge with clarity, confidence and action.
This isn't about managing changeāit's about becoming the force that creates it.
My Journey
My life has been rooted in global perspectives.
As an uninvited guest from Zimbabwe, I have studied in Finland, China, and Canada. I am honoured to live, dream, raise my family and work on the unceded, ancestral and traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples ā specifically the sįøµwx̱wĆŗ7mesh (Squamish), sÉlilĢilwĢÉtaŹÉ¬ (Tsleil-Waututh), and xŹ·mÉĪøkŹ·ÉyĢÉm (Musqueam) nations; also known as Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Over the past two decades, I have been an educator, researcher, and leader in higher education.
As a multi-hyphenate, I am also an entrepreneur, storyteller, and podcast host. Iām currently pursuing my doctoral studies in leadership.
My Impact
I speak, write, and coach on transformational change. My expertise spans:
Strategic program development
Equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI)
Transformational systemic change
Leadership development and student affairs
Crisis management
From national panels to international conferences, Iāve extended my impact by:
Supporting community initiatives and policy reforms and serving on boards/committees.
Launching my global podcast, Unspeakable Leadership.
Inspiring audiences with human-centered, actionable talks.
The Canadian Bureau for International Education honoured me as a national EDI leader in 2022, and in 2021, I received the UBC Presidentās Service Awards for Excellence.
What Drives Me
I believe systematic shifts donāt happen by waitingāthey begin with action.
I aim to motivate women of colour, emerging leaders and change-makers to break generational and cultural biases, transform family trees, and lead authentically.
Off-Stage Moments
When Iām not working, youāll find me:
Exploring the world (Iāve travelled to four continents and counting).
Running, reading, or spending quality time with my son.
Relaxing with my essentials: a soft chocolate brown blanket, my furbaby, and a red hot water bottle.
A Few Fun Facts About Me
I feel most alive on stage, especially when I can sense the energy shift in the room.
I practice self-care through creativity, meditation, nature, and water.
Even if I won a million dollars, Iād still choose a path of empowering others.
