More than a dinner

A place to soften, not to perform.

There are seasons when something shifts within us. You may be doing well, carrying responsibility, showing up for everyone around you, and still wondering what it would feel like to build more of your life around what is true for you.

That is the spirit of this evening. The Circle of Braided Arenas is not another networking event where you rehearse your title before you walk through the door. It is a place to soften, eat well, laugh, meet women you may never otherwise encounter, and make room for the question at the heart of My Arena: what do I want my arena to hold now?

You do not need to arrive with the answer. You only need to arrive open to the possibility that something can grow when you have enough space to hear yourself, and when other women are beside you doing the same.

Why braided arenas?

Strength that doesn't ask every strand to match.

I keep returning to the image of a braid because its strength does not come from every strand becoming the same. Each strand remains distinct, carrying its own texture, history and direction, while becoming stronger in relationship with the others.

That is how I imagine this circle. Each woman brings her own story, ambition, questions, culture, wisdom and becoming.

We are not gathering to collapse those differences. We are gathering to let them coexist, to witness one another without comparison, and to remember that another woman's expansion does not require our contraction.

Your arena is yours to build.
Your circle is who builds it with you.

What awaits you

Everything is chosen with care, down to the smallest detail.

A full culturally curated meal, with dietary requirements accommodated wherever possible.

The symbol: My arena

A marker for the work you've already done.

We often mark inner change with something we can see.

A haircut after letting go. A tattoo after a big decision. A wardrobe change to move into reinvention.

The outer marker is not the transformation, it helps you remember what it took to make that step.

That is what the My Arena bracelet is meant to be. Season 6 asks what happens when we stop assuming the arenas around us are the only ones available, and begin defining success, leadership, purpose and possibility for ourselves. The bracelet gives the inner work you've done a physical reminder.

When you see the words My Arena on your wrist, I hope they bring you back to a simple truth: you can choose what belongs in your life, reconsider what no longer fits, and find spaces just as big as your dreams and goals.

The first-ever Unspeakable Leadership bracelet

Each bracelet features a heart engraved with "My Arena," measures 7.75 inches, and can be adjusted shorter by fastening the clasp onto any paperclip link. Choice is first come, first served, once six of either finish are selected, that option sells out.

Only twelve first-edition bracelets will ever exist.

925 Sterling Silver

A beautiful silver piece to add to your collection.

14K Gold Vermeil

A beautiful gold piece to add to your collection.

Is this evening for you?

Created specifically for women of colour.

You do not need a particular title, industry or career stage, and you do not need to know anyone else attending.

This evening is for you, if….

  • You are redefining what success, leadership or fulfilment means for you.

  • You want connection that goes beyond exchanging job titles and LinkedIn profiles.

  • You are craving beauty, warmth, celebration and conversation with more depth.

  • You are making room for a life that feels more like your own.

  • Or something about the words My Arena simply feels like it's speaking to you.

Long-time podcast listeners and first-time guests are equally welcome.

From the podcast to the room

Season 6, off the microphone.

Season 6 of Unspeakable Leadership, My Arena, explores what happens when our inner transformation begins to change the lives we build externally.

Across the season, the conversations move through possibility, liberation, reinvention, spirituality, success and what it means to live on your own terms.

The Circle of Braided Arenas brings that conversation off the microphone and into community.

For one evening, we get to experience it together.

Your place in the circle

When I imagined this evening, I did not want a room so large that we barely learned one another's names. I kept coming back to twelve because twelve allows us to sit around one table, hear each other, laugh together, and leave feeling the circle became wider.

You may walk into the room knowing no one. My hope is that you do not leave that way, and that you leave wearing one of the first twelve My Arena bracelets ever created for Unspeakable Leadership.

I hope the bracelet becomes a reminder of something larger: the woman you were becoming when you chose your seat at this table, and the truth that your life does not have to be built entirely around the arenas you inherited. You are allowed to create your own.

Only 12 seats are available.
